We didn't do anything exciting today.....we just drove, so we added some photos to our old entries. If you click on them they can enlarge for better viewing. We'll try to get the photos into our entries as we do them from now on.
This was a day of travel for us. We left New Orleans, Louisiana, and caught up with the trailing whirls of Hurricane Alex at it moved out of the Gulf of Mexico and onto south east Texas. It started raining about an hour from Houston, Texas, and just got harder all the way to our campsite. It's lots of fun setting up in the rain when your entire campsite, except where the trailer sits, is under a couple of inches of water. I think we'll give up on visiting the pool and watch a movie (The Alamo) in the trailer. By midnight it'll clear and we should have an easy ride into San Antonio, tomorrow. The day after that we'll visit the real Alamo and see how it compares to the movie.
